Will my estate agent mind me selling direct to you?
They won't be overjoyed - because you're saving the likely 2-3% plus VAT they would have charged in commission! You get that money instead - and it's your right to sell direct. Please note that if you have already instructed an estate agent they may still try and claim a fee, depending on the exact terms of any contract you have signed. Generally as long as you are not sole agency this will not apply. Even if you are sole agency, you can always cancel this arrangement.
Do I have to get my property valuated by an estate agent before I contact you?
No. We have an experienced team of valuers, who will carry out a free valuation on your property. We will set up an appointment within 24 hours and within 48 hours of viewing your property; we will supply a formal and guaranteed offer in writing.
What if I have signed a contract with an estate agent?
This depends on whether or not you have a sole agency or multi agency. If it is a multi agency, there is no problem and MPG can complete at any time. In the case of a sole agency, there is normally a time period. Once this time period has expired, we can move in straight away. In some cases you will have a notification period. Again, once you have given this, MPG can move to tie up your sale immediately.
