We are dealing with a contested will - what now?
MPG has many years of experience in helping people sell inherited properties. We'll work with you, explaining any legal requirements clearly, so you're in no doubt about what is happening every step of the way. A contested will delay the sale of a property but we'll help you avoid as much strain as possible; at MPG we offer free legal fees if you use our recommended solicitor – or £500 toward your legal fees if you choose to use your own solicitor.
How long does a MPG sale take?
At MPG, we are able to exchange within 7 days, or even less. We work closely with you throughout the sales process and get keep you up to date regularly. MPG will also recommend solicitors who we know will act quickly too.
Do you buy property in any condition?
Yes. Many of the properties we buy are in need of improvement, which is why estate agents find them difficult to sell.
Do you buy properties in all areas?
Yes. As a national company we can buy properties throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
Will MPG Investments ensure that I get a fair price for the property?
Estate agents have a tendency to have asking prices on properties far in excess as to what they are really worth. This is partly because people have an inflated view of the worth of their own home and partly because by giving a higher valuation they are more likely to get the business. At MPG Investments we calculate the true market valuation using actual comparable sales information and resources like the land registry. We then present this information to you in a full report on the property and it is for you alone to decide whether you want to buy it or not. We usually pay between 75% and 90% of the open-market value.
