Do you carry out a structural survey?
Not usually. It would delay the process. Our valuers have a good enough idea. If we do decide to survey the property it would be one of our in-house, private surveyors and would take place within days. We don't use bank surveyors.
Do you buy property with subsidence problems?
Yes. For MPG Investments, buying a property with subsidence is not a problem. Traditional buyers will struggle to arrange a mortgage but because MPG is a cash buyer, this is no problem.
Is the condition of the property important?
Not at all. We're interested in everything, from newly-decorated homes to properties with major problems. If repairs are needed, we can take care of them. It's not a problem.
What if my property has a short lease?
MPG Investments are very interested in properties with short leases. Normally these are very difficult to sell because no mortgage company will lend on them, but for MPG Investments - a cash buyer, this presents no problem.
