Does MPG involve any added costs with the rent-back option?
There are no extra costs such as legal or estate agency fees. Only a small part of your payment will be retained as a deposit (e.g. one months rent). You'll receive this back when you leave the property.
How much will the rent be, compared to market rates?
Your rent will be based on similar types of property in your local areTake note, when we make our offer to you, you are under no obligation or financial penalty to accept it. At MPG our aim is to find a solution which suits both parties.
If MPG is now my landlord, what are the terms and conditions?
Our contracts are based on a standard tenancy agreement - all terms and conditions will be clearly explained when we make our offer. We are known for our integrity; if you're uncertain about the legal wording you can get your own solicitor to look over the agreement.
What happens if I can't pay my rent?
As with any legal contract, you'll be subject to the terms and conditions set out in our tenancy agreement with you. These terms will be clearly explained to you when we make our offer.
How will my rent be collected?
We'll collect your rent by your method of choice (direct debit, cheque, etc.). We'll ensure all dealings between us are kept strictly private.
What about my furniture?
Most of the time, your furniture will stay in place and the price will be included in our financial agreements.
What is equity release compared to MPG Sell and Rent back?
By selling to MPG, you can release equity in your home, enabling you to pay off loans or invest in a new business. This can be done without moving home, by simply renting back from us. We offer a sale and rent back option on all purchases. In this sense, it is exactly the same as equity release, although it is more flexible. Equity release schemes can be extremely complicated, whereas with a sale and rent back to MPG, we explain exactly what price we will pay for your property as well as the rent you will pay. Therefore, an MPG Investments offer can be considered as much more transparent.
